Art and decor are central to how I operate as a designer.
Yes, I care about lighting, scale, furnishing durability, grout, jolly trim, hardware, and approximately 300 other things. But art and objects are where a home gets to be personal.
This is my corner of the internet for all things art: the artists I love, the pieces I can't stop thinking about, the stories behind what's in the shop, conversations with artists, and the occasional rabbit hole worth going down.
It's also for anyone who has ever looked around their home and thought, Okay, now what? Because figuring out what to put on the walls - or how to pull a room together once the furniture is in - isn't always as intuitive as it looks.
Consider this a place to start.
For reference, this is not a CKCO print. This is one of my favorite pieces that my client happened to unearth from her parents moving boxes.
Things to know about CKCO Art Prints
The Sourcing Part
I spend an unreasonable amount of time looking through public-domain archives to find pieces that feel interesting, unexpected, and joyful.
I’m drawn to a variety of artists, colors, subjects, and themes - and I’m especially interested in work that hasn’t already been reproduced a thousand times. Some pieces are left as they were originally created; others are thoughtfully reworked or adapted for print.
Every print is selected simply because I like it. That’s the point.
The Donation Part
I wanted the print collection to do a little more.
A portion of proceeds from each print can be donated to an organization you choose from my list of causes I believe in. It felt like a simple way to use something I love (art) to support things I care about.

We'll select a piece from my handpicked art selection, from a favorite artist, or we’ll start with one you've already found.
03 — Get the plan
I'll give you recommendations for scale, framing, and placement, including two framing directions.
04 — Make it happen
You take the recommendations to your framer (or I help you virtually) and you hang the piece with confidence.
