How It Works
There is never a one-size-fits-all approach to my designs because I don’t think any human being on planet earth shares the same exact design preferences - and even if they do, I guarantee they have different ways of living.
Two neighbors might love eclectic interiors with a mid-century modern touch, but one of them has 4 kids under 10 and the other has 9 pet snakes. Their designs, while rooted in the same aesthetic vein, will have different functional needs that further inform those designs.
With that being said, here’s an idea as to my process for the most part.
Ps. if you have 9 snakes, I can’t come over. I’m sick. Cough cough.
-
Each project starts out with a 15-minute “fit call” to ensure we’d be a compatible pair. This affords you the opportunity to ask clarifying questions and gives me a sense of your project before we jump into anything.
-
Regardless of project size, I have every client fill out my Aesthetic Intake Form. What do you like, what do you dislike, what is important to you, how do you want the room to feel, what does the home need, etc.
This is imperative in understanding how my clients are unique, and it allows me to create unique design solutions that fit their specific needs.
-
I’ll draft a contract + scope of work specific to your project. This ensures we’re on the same page about what services you want, and how I’ll deliver!
-
Consultation Service - this is where I’ll come onsite for 2hrs and talk through your project needs. The aesthetic form completed ahead of time helps make this an efficient collaboration so we can make the most of our time together.
Partial + Full Service - I’ll measure the space, take preliminary project photos, and document and pertinent details.
-
It typically takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks to develop creative for a project. Once ready, I’ll schedule a Design Review where I’ll present the curated design materials with swatches, renderings and mood boards.
-
Once we review your design, we'll refine selections until you feel confident moving forward.
If revisions require input from contractors or trades, I'll coordinate with my trusted network, gather estimates, and manage the process from start to finish.
After the design is finalized, we'll schedule sit tests (when applicable), complete a final field measure, and place orders for your furnishings.
From there, I'll oversee the details, keep you informed every step of the way, and coordinate installation—finishing with styling your home so it feels polished, personal, and ready to enjoy.
