Mood Board
Because we weren’t changing anything in the room from a fixed standpoint, the best way to convey the art direction was a good ol’ mood board.

The client knew they wanted to keep these three pieces of art, but didn’t know where to put them. The solution was found through working with the wall’s off center picture molding, and playing with a variety of materials, frames, and a combination of art and photographs to pull it together.

Mood Board
Tile surround to be updated in a deep maroon tile from a local historic Detroit establishment, a more muted rug would calm the space down, patterned curtains would add some play, and glass side tables brought the elegance.
