MAPLEFIELD NURSERY DESIGN
I knew I loved this client right away. Tell tale signs you ask? Well, she was 7 months pregnant and she told me she was over it and just wanted her nips to stop chafing on the inside of her bra. Friendship foraged forever.
PROJECT DETAILS: a children’s bedroom needed to be revamped to accommodate a newborn sibling, a toddler, it needed to be gender neutral, have color, and feel inspiring. The furnishings also had to fit the confines of the space to allow space to comfortably play. I’d say mission f*ing accomplished but I’m not allowed to swear on this one because it was for the kids.
PRESERVED FEATURES: client had amazing accent throw pillows, a rocker, and already chose the baby-blue scalloped bed ahead of time (chefs kiss, also IKEA!)
NEW FEATURES: repainted space, ceiling canopy, dresser, gallery wall, rug, nightstand
Ps. this is Lola. She only swatted me once but that was because I was petting her head really hard BECAUSE HOW COULD YOU NOT WITH A FACE LIKE THAT?!?!
