PROJECT DETAILS: when the answer to your question “can we wallpaper our bedroom” is met by your partner with “I don’t want to spend money on that”…. you find your own solutions. In this case, it meant I spent 3 weeks hand-drawing poppies around the perimeter of our bedroom. I also changed the base color of our walls not once, not twice.. but yes, three entirely separate times. Did the fact that I was 3-weeks postpartum have an influence on this at all? I think entirely yes, but also… maybe not? Nobody will ever know.
