How to Hang Your Ceramic Wall Vase

It’s so easy, even a man can do it! Ughhhhh I’m going to get in trouble for saying that aren’t I.

  • A mirror with a black frame standing next to a white wall in a room, with clothes hanging on a rack visible in the background.

    Step One: Getcho materials

Wow this is a really great starter image. Gather the following materials: pencil, hammer, nail, wall vase and a chosen space on your wall for hanging.

  • A person arranging dried lavender in a dark brown ceramic vase on a white wall.

Step Two: Mark it with a bee

Hold your wall vase up to the designated hanging point. I find it helpful to do so with my greenery inside so I’ll know the full space the decorated item will take up. Find the designated hanging gap on your wall vase against the wall, mark that spot with a pencil.

  • A person holding a hammer upside down in front of a mirror, with another person's hand near the wall, and a towel hanging in the background.

    Step Three: Nail it

Hammer a nail into the wall on top of your pencil mark.

  • A person is holding a dark ceramic vase with dried purple and beige flowers, reflected in a mirror on a bathroom wall.

    Step Four: Approach the wall

Place the hanging gap on your wall vase over your newly hammered nail on the wall. Before letting go, make sure that the nail hangs out far enough from the wall to adequately catch the wall vase.

  • Dried flowers in a dark ceramic wall vase mounted on a plain white wall

    Step Five: You're done!

Well done, you did it! That was HARD! Go get some wine and a massage, you’ve earned it.
